Freelance Content Creator and Digital Marketing Manager

One day per week - preferably a Monday or a Friday

£100-£150per day DOE

A bit about us:

Purpose Products Group Ltd offices run multiple ecommerce websites, our main one being EcoStardust a biodegradable glitter business. Our offices are in a converted barn in Upton, just outside of Long Sutton in the Somerset Countryside. We are a small but ambitious team who love glitter and are passionate about the environment.


The Job:

We are looking for an experienced Content Creator and Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. 


Perfect for someone with a passion for marketing/photoshoots/events who likes working in a fast paced environment and loves homeware, glitter and going to festivals!



Responsibilities within this role will include:


-Develop and implement a marketing and content strategy that will support the growth plans for the business.

-Content creator - love taking photos, making videos and producing content for socials

-Photography - photograph new products and collections - always looking for new ways to showcase products in a better light

-Organise and manage brand/product/marketing photo and video shoots

-Blogging

-Email Marketing - creating gifs and fun emails for our subscribers

-Optimise websites/content for SEO

-Create and manage paid search campaigns

-Create useful and well written blog posts that will improve the experience of customers and improve SEO.

-Reach out to influencers, start competitions, run charity events, all to generate engagement, make a difference to people's lives and strengthen the company brand.

-Social media management - content development, copywriting, scheduling and posting

-Design banners for promos etc for the website

-Setup and manage a Brand Ambassador Scheme

-Setup and manage an Affiliate Marketing Scheme

-PR

-Utilise Google Analytics to understand customer journey and acquisition and suggest improvements

-Promote our company values and ethics.

-Any other additional tasks as may be necessary to the running of the business




About the person we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be a self driven individual who is passionate about creating content that delivers measurable results, making a positive difference to our customers experience and business as a whole and drives our business forward.


They will love trying out our products, taking photos, making videos, chatting with our followers and building engagement. You would have access to glitter, makeup, props, cameras in our office and can spend your time producing amazing images and content for our website.


The company is looking for either a graduate with a relevant degree and bags of passion and enthusiasm, or someone with relevant experience.



Essential Skills

-3 years digital marketing experience

-Driving licence

-Can do attitude, self starter and willingness to learn new things

-Proven track record of Social Media success. Understanding how success is measured.

-Ability to read analytics and metrics of posts, campaigns and user interaction and present in reports.

-A great understanding of SEO, SEM and PPC, enabling you to work with service providers and confirm that the best strategies and techniques are being implemented.

-Excellent writing skills, engaging, thorough, great spelling and grammar.

-Experience and knowledge of effective email marketing campaigns.

-Good photography skills, and photo/video editing.

-Adobe Creative Suite knowledge.

-Motivation to keep yourself up to date with trends and new developments

-Excellent personal organisational and multitasking skills.

-Understanding of Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Mailchimp suite, Ecommerce based businesses

Warehouse Assistant and Admin Manager/PA  - Maternity Cover - One Year Contract

The Job:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Assistant and Admin Manager/PA to join our team. This is a crucial role to the business - making our products, posting them and doing all of the admin - you are the Directors wing person - This is a one year contract to cover maternity leave, however along with our business growth plans we hope to be able to offer the right candidate a permanent position.


Responsibilities within this role will include:


-Manufacturing products (nothing dangerous - mixing glitter, potting and boxing, or making glittery soaps, brushes - so many fun products!)

-Processing orders - picking, packing and posting - Shopify & Click and Drop

-Ensuring warehouse and office is clean, organised and COVID safe

-Customer Services - managing all customer queries - Freshdesk

-Respond to customers on social media

-All business administrative tasks - e.g. mail sorting, filin, note taking, calendar management - all using Google Workspace

-Stock takes

-Website updates in Shopify, CREOATE and other Marketplaces

-Office ordering - managing incoming stock, making sure we are never out of biscuits

-Sales Admin - Onboarding new stockists, sending invoices, utilising company CRM

-Glitter Bar Booking Management - dealing with queries, managing bookings, artists, organising kit - using Google Calendar and Clickup

-Trade/Stockist Enquiries - Setting up new trade accounts or stockist accounts

-Looking for ways to streamline processes, implement new products.

-Bookkeeping - Xero

-PA to the Director

-Anything else to help keep the business running smoothly




About the person we are looking for:

You are the office go to person, you know where everything is, how things are to be done. You are organised, love taking notes, making lists and just getting things done. You have a can do attitude, friendly demeanour and are always looking for ways to streamline the business and make everything more efficient. 


The company is looking for someone with bags of passion and enthusiasm and relevant experience. 



Essential Skills

-3 years experience in an admin role

-Driving licence

-Can do attitude

-Willingness to learn new things

-Ability to use a Macbook Pro (we do not use windows)

Glitter Artists

Are you a talented and confident makeup artist or face painter? EcoStardust are looking for Glitter Artists to join their team to help us with Eco Glitter Bar Bookings.


We glitter people at festivals, corporate events, weddings, hen dos. Most of our bookings are on weekends and in the evenings. Clients have included Virgin, ASOS, Monsoon and many other big names.


We are looking for artists all over the UK, however if you are based near our offices in Langport, Somerset then that is even better as you can easily pick up the kit from us.


Essential requirements

-Public liability insurance £5 million

-Experience of applying glitter/face/body paint in a professional setting (if you don't have experience in a formal setting then please provide additional examples of your work)

-Ability to create custom glitter looks upon request. 

-Ability to work quickly and maintain high standards. 

-Ability to travel (please let us know how far you are willing to travel)
