Non-GMO eucalyptus trees which have been sustainably farmed in Europe, however, it still has the same reflective properties as conventional glitter.Cellulose is the substance that makes up most of a plant’s cell walls. Since it is made by all plants, it is probably the most abundant organic compound on Earth. Cellulose is a biodegradable polysaccharide. A polysaccharide is a type of carbohydrate.
The plant cellulose is dyed with cosmetic grade dyes and then covered with the tiniest amount of aluminium in order to give it it's shine. The cellulose is then fed through a glitter cutting machine and cut to the desired size and shape. We currently offer six different sizes all in Hexagonal shape. As our glitter is cosmetic grade our standard size grain of glitter is smaller than traditional craft glitter. Our Chunky glitter would be the equivalent size of craft glitter, we then stock super chunky and Ultra Chunky. More information regarding glitter sizing can be found here.
