Happy International Day of Charity

Happy International Day of Charity, Glitter Warriors!

At EcoStardust, we believe in giving back which is why, year-round, we support City to Sea and Surfers Against Sewage by donating 10% of our net profits to both of these incredible environmental charities.

Today we will be doubling (that’s right, DOUBLING!) this and donating 20% of all sales to them so they can carry on doing wonderful things to protect our planet. Ends at 23:59 BST on Thursday 5th September.

ABOUT CITY TO SEA

Founded by Natalie Fee in 2014, City to Sea is a Bristol-based not-for-profit organisation made up of everyday people doing extraordinary things campaigning to prevent marine plastic pollution at the source – from the city all the way to the sea. One of their campaigns include Refill - an award-winning campaign to prevent plastic pollution at source by making it easier to reuse and refill your water bottle on the go than buy a single-use disposable plastic bottle. Download the app here to find a Refill station near you.

ABOUT SURFERS AGAINST SEWAGE

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) was created in 1990 by a group of Cornish surfers from the villages of St Agnes and Porthtowan on the north coast of Cornwall. Their aim is to unite and empower communities to protect oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife. Last year alone, SAS hosted a whopping 1291 beach cleans! They have also created 612 plastic-free communities including plastic-free schools, a pupil-led education programme equipping and empowering young activists with the tools to create positive, lasting environmental change.
